About Us
It is a pleasure to
communicate with fellow early childhood educators who feel
passionately about young children and their education, particularly
with my Magical Moments Curriculum. Like you, the
person that I am today is a culmination of life’s experiences,
meaningful moments, successes, hardships, trials, and interactions
with caring, wonderful people as well as those less than lovelies
that we have all dealt with In other words, we are who we are
because of the integration of our experiences.
As a mother of two young women, one a doctor and the other a
teacher, wife for thirty years and widow for 3, and a teacher for
over two decades, a college graduate with a degree in Early
Childhood Education and Developmental Psychology from Penn State
University, I feel qualified and confident that the ideas ,
practices, songs, projects, and style of teaching that I advocate is
consistent with what is in the best interest of children.
After years of creating lesson plans, I realized that common threads
should be established that connect science, math, language,
literature, the arts, music, and social awareness in order to attain
optimal growth and to enable children to make connections between
past, present, and future lessons.
